Emma Dangerfield

Emma currently works as a research fellow at Victoria University of Wellington. In this role she has focused on two key areas of research. The first is in the chemical synthesis and subsequent biological evaluation of molecules to activate the immune system. The second is the development of protecting-group free methodology for the synthesis of biologically active molecules. As a PhD student Emma was a student representative for NZIC. Now, years later she is part of the
NZIC Wellington Branch committee.

I love the way NZIC brings people together from all walks of life, and from many different organisations, all with the common delight in chemistry.
